2026 Christmas card competition

Love animals? Passionate about photography? Here’s your chance to showcase your talent and support a great cause!

We’re inviting photographers of all levels to take part in The Humane Research Trust’s 2026 festive animal and wildlife photography competition. Your winning image could feature on the front of our flagship Christmas card, helping raise funds for animal-free medical research.

What we're looking for

  • Festive scenes featuring wildlife or pets/companion animals
  • Photos can be indoors or outdoors
  • No people in the image, please

The prize

The winning photo will become our official 2026 Trust Christmas Card, sold in packs of 10 from August 2026. Your work will help spread festive cheer while supporting life-saving research without animal testing.

How to enter

  • Entry is FREE, although donations are welcome to support our mission
  • Closing date: 23:59 on Sunday 15 February 2026
  • Submit your photo using the form below or email [email protected] with:
    • Your photo(s)
    • Name and contact details
    • Photo details (such as your companion animal's name)

Note:

When submitting images, please check the photo is good quality and that it has not been compressed or taken directly from social media.

By entering the competition you are giving the Trust permission to use your image in future publications, on our website and on our social media pages.
